ABOUT

Abby has been involved with horses her whole life with success in a range of disciplines.

Growing up with horses on the family farm, first in Waverley and then Te Puke made her passion for eventing easy to pursue with plenty of land to train over. Eventing brought Abby many successes, including competing at FEI 4* level in New Zealand and Australia, representing New Zealand in the Senior Trans Tasman team and being involved with many New Zealand eventing squads.

Abby has trained and worked with some of the best riders and coaches in NZ and the world and enjoys passing that knowledge on. She has been training others and teaching riders for several years across a range of levels and disciplines. Having called time on her professional riding and competition career, Abby is now moving her focus to coaching and more recently saddle fitting. She is looking forward to using all the knowledge she has gained as a rider to help fit saddles for balance and performance.

Abby is a current committee member of the Eventing BOP Incorporated horse trials group and is the rider representative at events held by the group. Abby is also involved with coaching at several riding clubs and pony clubs and enjoys supporting the next generation of riders coming through.

 The journey ahead is looking like an exciting one, working with a range of brilliant new people and products.
